We are seeking an experienced and skilled South Indian Cook to prepare authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation. The candidate should be knowledgeable in traditional recipes and capable of handling kitchen operations efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare authentic South Indian dishes such as Idli, Dosa, Vada, Sambar, Rasam, Chutneys, Meals, and other regional specialties
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Manage kitchen inventory and minimize wastage
- Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Ensure timely preparation
KEY SKILLS
- Expertise in South Indian cuisine
- Knowledge of traditional spices and ingredients
- Time management and multitasking ability
- Hygiene and food safety awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum 2 years experience in South Indian cooking
- Experience in hotel / restaurant / catering kitchen
- Team-oriented and disciplined
