Job Summary
We are seeking an empathetic, target-driven, and highly organized International Education Counsellor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for aspiring students, guiding them through the entire journey of studying abroad—from initial course selection and university shortlisting to applications, documentation, visa processing, and pre-departure briefings.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Counselling & Guidance: Conduct detailed telephonic, virtual, or in-person counseling sessions with students and parents to understand their academic background, career goals, and financial budgets.
- University & Course Shortlisting: Match student profiles with appropriate programs and universities across our core destinations (UK, Ireland, Germany, Malta, and Europe), focusing on both traditional degrees and specialized vocational pathways (e.g., healthcare management, nursing).
- End-to-End Application Management: Guide students through the compilation of application portfolios, including reviewing Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), and academic transcripts.
- Visa Assistance: Provide precise, up-to-date guidance on student visa requirements, financial documentation, and interview preparation to maximize success rates.
- Lead Conversion & Follow-Ups: Actively manage and follow up on CRM leads, nurturing prospective students systematically to meet monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.
- B2B & Partner Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and institutional partners to ensure smooth application processing and quick turnarounds on offers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a Study Abroad Counsellor or Admissions Officer (experience with the UK, Ireland, Malta, or European markets is highly preferred).
- Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with global intake cycles, university entry criteria, English proficiency requirements (IELTS/PTE/TOEFL), and visa regulations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with an ability to build trust and rapport quickly with students and parents.
- Tech Savviness: Proficient with CRM software, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, MS Teams).
- Attributes: High emotional intelligence, strict attention to detail, and a self-motivated mindset capable of thriving in a structured remote work environment.
