We're Hiring: Quality Executive (Fresher)
Location: Goa Plant
Experience: 0–1 year (Freshers welcome)
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Executive to join our Quality team. This is a great opportunity for a fresher who is sharp with numbers, comfortable working on Excel/data sheets, and eager to build a career in quality control within a high-pressure die casting (HPDC) manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Check, verify, and record inspection data (incoming, in-process, and final inspection) accurately on daily quality sheets
- Capture and update rejection, defect, and rework data in Excel/ERP for tracking and reporting
- Support the Quality team in maintaining inspection logs, checklists, and traceability records
- Flag discrepancies or abnormal trends in data to senior quality engineers
- Assist in preparing basic quality reports (daily/weekly rejection summaries, defect trends)
- Support internal audit preparation by organizing and updating documentation
- Learn and follow basic quality standards and procedures (ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements)
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (freshers or up to 1 year experience)
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, data entry, basic charts)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording
- Willingness to learn HPDC processes, casting defects, and quality tools
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Prior internship/project exposure to a manufacturing or quality environment is a plus
