About the Role
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our digital content team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling and be able to turn raw footage into engaging, polished and platform-ready content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos for news, interviews, podcasts, social media and digital platforms.
- Edit short-form content such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social media videos.
- Edit long-form interviews, news features and other video content.
- Select and organize the best footage, audio and visuals for each project.
- Add captions, graphics, transitions, music and other elements where appropriate.
- Maintain consistency in video quality, visual style and branding.
- Work with the editorial and content teams to understand the purpose and tone of each video.
- Make necessary revisions based on editorial feedback.
- Ensure videos are delivered within agreed timelines.
- Stay updated with current video editing trends and social media formats.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Graduation in any discipline.
- Good knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, cuts, transitions and audio.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and color correction is an advantage.
- Understanding of social media video formats and trends.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Previous experience in news, media, digital content, YouTube or production is preferred.
- Freshers with strong editing skills and a good portfolio may also apply.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
