We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to prepare accurate architectural drawings, construction documents, and technical plans for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, designers, and project teams to develop design concepts into detailed drawings that comply with project requirements, building regulations, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Candidate has to work with Architect on site.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and construction documents.
- Convert conceptual designs, sketches, and specifications into accurate technical drawings.
- Develop and revise plans using computer-aided design (CAD)
- Coordinate drawings with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Modify drawings based on client feedback, design changes, and project requirements.
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and presentation drawings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Draftsman or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and construction methods.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Familiarity with local building regulations and approval processes.
