We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Event Housekeeper to join our team in Bangalore. The Event Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, tidiness, and presentation of event venues before, during, and after various events. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to maintain high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.
- Perform thorough cleaning of all event spaces, including halls, meeting rooms, restrooms, common areas, and backstage facilities, prior to event commencement.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish surfaces, floors, and furniture to ensure a pristine environment.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly, restocking supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness during events, promptly addressing spills, litter, and other cleaning needs without disrupting guests.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas, ensuring proper waste segregation.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event furniture and equipment as needed, ensuring the area remains clean and organized.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with other event staff and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
- Handle special cleaning requests from event organizers or management as they arise.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained, stored, and in good working condition.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
