Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a BEE and ISO 50001 – Senior Electrical Auditor. The Senior Electrical Auditor will plan, conduct, and report on energy audits and electrical safety audits in accordance with BEE guidelines and ISO 50001 standards. Responsibilities include evaluating electrical systems and energy consumption patterns, identifying efficiency improvement opportunities, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The role involves preparing detailed technical audit reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting clients through certification and compliance processes. The auditor will also coordinate with client teams, conduct trainings or awareness sessions on energy management and electrical safety, and stay current with relevant codes, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in electrical systems, energy management, and practical application of BEE guidelines and ISO 50001 standards.
- Proven experience in conducting energy and electrical safety audits, including site inspections, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to develop and review technical documentation, audit checklists, and compliance records with high attention to detail.
- Effective stakeholder communication and coordination skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; BEE Certified Energy Auditor or Manager and ISO 50001 lead auditor qualification strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant national and international electrical safety standards, codes, and industrial best practices.
- Capacity to work independently on client sites, manage multiple assignments, and meet project deadlines.
- Experience in training, capacity building, or consulting for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure clients is an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
