Job Description
At Bazaarvoice, we create smart shopping experiences. Our mission is to build smarter shopper experiences across the entire customer journey — from discovery on social to conversion on the product page. Whether it's optimizing a shoppable gallery experience on a retailer PDP or scaling visual content distribution across a global brand-retailer network, we're here to be a true strategic partner for businesses.
As the Senior Product Manager responsible for Bazaarvoice Social Galleries and Visual Syndication Network, you will play a critical role in shaping how brands and retailers display and distribute visual user-generated content at scale. Your primary focus will be on understanding the needs of brand marketers, retailer merchandising teams, and end shoppers — then building products that drive trust, engagement, and conversion through authentic visual experiences at every point of sale.
How you’ll make an impact:
Defining a strategy and creating a 1–2 year roadmap for Social Galleries and Visual Syndication Network, balancing the needs of both sides of Bazaarvoice's brand-retailer network.
Knowing the pulse of the market: social commerce trends, visual UGC consumption behavior, and the competitive landscape of shoppable gallery and content syndication solutions.
Serve as a product advocate for brands and retailers in discussions with clients, articulating how visual content display and distribution drive measurable lift in conversion and engagement.
Discover and validate problems — from gallery rendering performance and shoppability on PDPs to syndication match rate gaps across the retailer network — through research, data analysis, and experimentation.
Lead Product Discovery and Early Adopter Programs to validate display and distribution features iteratively with high-value brand and retailer clients.
Partner with Marketing and Sales to define product positioning, competitive differentiation, and pricing strategy for visual UGC display and syndication capabilities.
Make prioritization decisions that balance syndication infrastructure reliability with shopper-facing experience improvements — gallery rendering, shoppability, personalization, and placement flexibility.
Own the full product lifecycle — from build through market testing, GTM launch, success narrative, and iterative enhancement. Evangelize product releases with data-driven narratives connecting visual syndication volume and gallery engagement metrics to client ROI.
Work with Technical Services and Product Knowledge teams to build internal training and external documentation for gallery and syndication capabilities. Communicate across teams to ensure consistent backlog alignment and that engineering has everything needed to size, accept, and execute on work.
Essential Criteria:
5+ years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to content distribution networks, syndication platforms, or visual commerce display surfaces
Strategic thinking with the ability to develop a roadmap that serves both brand and retailer stakeholders across a global visual syndication network
Ability to prioritize across competing investments — syndication infrastructure reliability, retailer integration scalability, and shopper-facing gallery experience improvements
Understanding of content delivery, retailer API integrations, and the technical nuances of rendering visual assets at scale across heterogeneous retail environments
Ability to define and track metrics like Syndication Match Rate, Visual Content Volume, Gallery Engagement Rate, and shoppability conversion lift
Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews in a B2B2C context
Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity — retailer integration requirements vary widely and visual commerce display standards continue to evolve
Familiarity with front-end display performance considerations (Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, responsive media) as they relate to gallery experience on retailer PDPs
Why You’ll Love Working with Us?
Competitive salary + good benefits (insurance, annual leave, bonuses, referral rewards, and more).
