Mad Media Machine is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. If you're passionate about storytelling, editing high-quality videos, and creating engaging content for digital platforms, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for social media, advertisements, corporate films, promotional campaigns, and brand content.
- Create engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
- Assemble raw footage, add transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, music, color correction, and visual effects to produce polished videos.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, graphic designers, and content creators to bring creative concepts to life.
- Ensure all video content aligns with client brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, trends, and platform requirements.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing (Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro (FCP), and DaVinci Resolve.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animations.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, audio editing, color grading, and visual composition.
- Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Motion Graphics and Animation.
- Advanced Color Grading in DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools.
- Experience editing wedding films, commercials, podcasts, or brand videos is an added advantage.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Film Editing, Animation, or a related field.
