The Store Keeper is responsible for managing the theatre's inventory, receiving and issuing materials, maintaining stock records, and ensuring the timely availability of supplies for daily operations. The role requires accuracy, organization, and coordination with various departments such as F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplier deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual registers or inventory software.
- Issue stock to departments based on approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory to the Purchase/Admin team.
- Arrange and organize materials in the store for easy identification and access.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification.
- Prepare stock reports, inward and outward registers, and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage of food, beverages, cleaning supplies, maintenance items, and other consumables.
- Coordinate with vendors during material delivery and verify invoices.
- Minimize stock loss, wastage, and damage through proper inventory control.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the store area.
- Support internal and external inventory audits.
- Follow company SOPs and inventory management procedures.
Eligibility
- Any Degree / Diploma (Commerce preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in a cinema, hotel, restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry.
- Freshers with strong inventory knowledge may also be considered.
Preferred Knowledge
- Inventory software or ERP systems
- FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory method
- Basic GST invoice verification
- Stock audit procedures
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Standing, lifting, and moving inventory items as required.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
