About the Role:
We are looking for a Freelance 3D Product Designer to work on short-termproduct development projects involving FDM 3D printing technology.The ideal candidate should have experience in designing functional and manufacturable products that can be directly prototyped using FDM printers.
Responsibilities
Design 3D models and product concepts based on requirements.
Create production-ready CAD models for FDM 3D printing.
Optimize designs for strength, printability, and material efficiency.
Prepare STL and other required manufacturing files.
Work closely with our team during product ideation and development.
Participate in design reviews, prototype evaluations, and iterations.
Support troubleshooting and refinement of printed prototypes.
Requirements
Experience in 3D product design and prototyping.
Proficiency in tools such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo,or similar CAD software.
Good understanding of FDM 3D printing processes, materials, and limitations.
Experience creating printable STL files and optimizing designs for additive manufacturing.
Ability to convert concepts, sketches, or requirements into manufacturable designs.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Important
Candidates must be based in Bangalore.
Must be willing to visit our office for discussions, design reviews, prototype evaluations, and printing activities.
