Job Description
An Maintenance Engineer need to ensure all plant machinery, DG sets, electrical systems, and utilities run 24/7 with minimum downtime. Selected candidate will be responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant & Machinery Maintenance
- Daily inspection of DG sets, air compressors, spot welders, conveyors, pumps, and HVAC
- Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule and maintain PM logs
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and minimize MTTR
2. Electrical & Automation
- PLC, relay, VFD, and control panel troubleshooting
- Handle 3-phase LT panels, MCC panels, and wiring
- Basic knowledge of welding machines like transformer, SCR units
3. Documentation
- Maintain maintenance history, downtime reports, and cost analysis
- Coordinate with vendors for AMC and major repairs
- Support audits and CAPA activities.
