Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Social Studies Teacher to teach students in Grades 6–8. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of history, geography, civics, and current affairs, and a genuine passion for inspiring young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Social Studies subjects as per the school curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/IB/Cambridge).
- Plan and deliver interactive, concept-driven lessons that encourage critical thinking and inquiry.
- Support students through projects, assessments, and examinations.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Use technology and experiential learning to make lessons more meaningful.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Studies or a related field.
- B.Ed. (mandatory).
- Prior teaching experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong subject knowledge may also apply.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Creative, student-centered approach to teaching.
