We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Restaurant Captain to join our vibrant team at Carnivale, a theme-based restaurant in the Noida/NCR region. As a Restaurant Captain, you will be the orchestrator of exceptional dining experiences, blending operational excellence with the theatrical energy that defines our brand. You'll lead our front-of-houseteam, manage guest interactions, and ensure every visit to Carnivale is memorable.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience Management: Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, conducttable management, and ensure seamless table turnover while maintaining Carnivale'ssignature festive atmosphere
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor waitstaff, bussers, and hosts; assign stations,monitor service standards, and provide real-time coaching
- Service Coordination: Coordinate between front and back-of-house operations;communicate special requests, dietary restrictions, and customizations to kitchen staff
- Menu Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items, wines,beverages, and catering packages; make recommendations tailored to guest preferencesand occasions
- Upselling & Revenue: Promote premium beverages, special offerings, and cateringpackages; identify opportunities to enhance guest spend while delivering genuine value
- Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns promptly and professionally; resolveconflicts and complaints to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and servicestandards; maintain dress code and professional appearance aligned with Carnivale'sbrand
- Operational Excellence: Monitor table timing, course delivery, and guest comfort;manage reservations, walk-ins, and special event coordination
- Training & Development: Conduct onboarding and ongoing training for service staff onCarnivale's service philosophy, menu, and brand values
- Reporting: Maintain records of guest feedback, incidents, and service metrics; providedaily reports to management
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in fine dining, upscale casual, or themed restaurantenvironments in a captain or senior server role
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and train service staff; experiencemanaging high-volume service periods
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Hindi is a plus);ability to interact with diverse, multicultural guests
- Menu & Beverage Knowledge: Strong understanding of food, wine pairings, andbeverage offerings; ability to customize recommendations
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to upsell and promote premium offerings whilemaintaining authenticity
- Guest Handling: Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to manage VIPs, corporate clients,and event guests
- Problem-Solving: Calm under pressure; quick decision-making in high-pacedenvironments
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
