Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic team at our Ghatkopar R City Mall location. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of bullion products, refinery processes, and the ability to lead and mentor a sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Sales & Customer Service:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on bullion products (gold, silver, etc.) and refinery services.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective product knowledge and customer engagement.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Operations & Management:
- Assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and security protocols.
- Supervise and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory.
- Assisting in the valuation of precious metals.
- Assist in the refinery process related questions from customers.
- Inventory & Security:
- Manage and monitor inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Implement and enforce security procedures to protect assets and personnel.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Team Leadership:
- Train and mentor sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assist in scheduling and performance management.
Qualifications:
- 2-7 years of experience in the bullion, jewellery, or related financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of bullion products, refinery processes, and market trends.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in cash handling and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to precious metals.
