Position: Product Specialist (Lab Chemicals / General Lab Equipment / Analytical Instruments)

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Product Specialist to support the promotion, sales and business development of laboratory chemicals, glassware, plasticware, scientific instruments and analytical equipment across India.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who wish to build a rewarding career in scientific sales, technical marketing and product management.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and develop business for laboratory chemicals, scientific instruments, glassware and plasticware across India.
- Drive revenue growth and expand market presence in research laboratories, educational institutions, industries, testing laboratories and government organizations.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and technical discussions with customers.
- Support implementation of marketing campaigns and promotional activities related to the product portfolio.
- Identify new business opportunities, potential customers and emerging market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors and channel partners.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on inquiries and support order execution.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor information and customer feedback.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
Preferred Qualification
- M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Life Sciences or related disciplines.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in scientific sales, laboratory products, analytical instruments or related fields.
Alternative Qualification
- B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Life Sciences or related disciplines.
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in laboratory chemicals, scientific equipment sales or technical marketing.
Desired Skills
- Good knowledge of laboratory chemicals and scientific products.
- Understanding of general laboratory and analytical instruments.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel and develop business relationships across India.
- Self-motivated with strong sales and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic business reporting.
