Position description: Conceptualize, design, animate, edit, and deliver professional learning, marketing, promotional, explainer, and corporate videos. The role requires strong visual storytelling, advanced Adobe After Effects capability, disciplined post-production skills, and mandatory use of AI tools for visual design and video development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Interpret briefs, scripts, storyboards, brand guidelines, and learning or marketing objectives to define the most effective video treatment and production approach.
- Create storyboards, style frames, animatics, mood boards, shot plans, and motion-design concepts before production.
- Design and animate motion graphics, typography, icons, illustrations, transitions, UI demonstrations, infographics, charts, lower thirds, intros/outros, and branded visual systems in Adobe After Effects.
- Edit video, audio, screen recordings, stock footage, presenter footage, AI-generated footage, and animation into clear, engaging narratives.
- Use AI-assisted visual-design tools to generate and refine images, backgrounds, characters, storyboards, style frames, and other production assets.
- Use AI video-development tools such as Synthesia, Runway, Adobe Firefly Video, Veo, HeyGen, Pika, InVideo AI, or equivalent platforms for presenter videos, generative footage, scene creation, localization, and production acceleration.
- Create and manage AI avatars, synthetic voiceovers, captions, multilingual versions, and lip-synced or localized video outputs where required.
- Apply professional pacing, composition, typography, transitions, sound design, color treatment, and animation principles.
- Perform video cleanup, color correction, audio balancing, noise reduction, subtitle/caption integration, compression, and final mastering.
- Optimize videos for LMS delivery, websites, social media, presentations, campaigns, and different screen sizes or aspect ratios.
- Maintain organized source projects, compositions, naming conventions, linked assets, version control, and reusable motion templates.
- Validate AI-generated content for accuracy, visual artifacts, continuity, brand fit, consent, privacy, licensing, and responsible-use requirements.
- Perform self-QA for timing, synchronization, spelling, captions, audio levels, visual consistency, encoding, and playback quality.
Collaborate with instructional designers, visual designers, marketing teams, content specialists, voice artists, and project stakeholders.

Educational qualifications preferred
- Category: Motion graphics, animation, film, multimedia, visual communication, or a related discipline.

- Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in motion graphics, animation, film, multimedia, visual communication, or a related discipline.

Required Competencies:
- Advanced motion-design and compositing skills in Adobe After Effects are essential.
- Strong visual storytelling, storyboarding, editing, animation timing, typography, composition, and design fundamentals.
- Ability to select the right production approach: motion graphics, presenter-led, image-led, screen-capture, stock-footage, AI-generated, or hybrid.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, resolutions, aspect ratios, audio standards, captions, and platform-specific outputs.
- Ability to transform AI-generated footage and assets into coherent, polished, production-ready videos rather than relying on unedited AI outputs.
- Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, ownership, communication, estimation, and ability to manage multiple videos against deadlines.
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects; strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and audio-editing tools.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with AI visual-design and AI video-development tools, including Synthesia or a comparable avatar-video platform.
- Experience with tools such as Runway, Adobe Firefly, Veo, HeyGen, Pika, InVideo AI, ElevenLabs, Murf, Descript, or equivalent platforms is strongly preferred.
- A strong showreel or portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, explainers, learning videos, marketing videos, AI-assisted production, and end-to-end post-production quality.
