Responsibilities:
- Supervise, lead, and coordinate daily activities of carpenters and apprentices
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Plan and assign tasks to team members
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other materials
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain tools, equipment, and worksite safety
- Order and manage materials and supplies
- Train and mentor junior carpenters
- Communicate with project managers, contractors, and clients
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter (5+ years preferred)
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good physical strength and stamina
- Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
