About the Role
Medcore Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Counter Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a professional who understands the pace of a retail pharmacy and can provide exceptional service while maintaining strict accuracy in billing and inventory management.
Note: This is not an entry-level position. We are specifically looking for candidates with prior experience in a pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Excellence: Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers regarding over-the-counter (OTC) products and health supplements.
- Transaction Management: Independently handle the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash, card, and UPI payments with 100% accuracy.
- Inventory Oversight: Manage stock levels, perform regular expiry audits, and ensure the "First Expiry, First Out" (FEFO) method is strictly followed.
- Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of proven experience in a retail pharmacy.
- Education: 12th Pass (minimum); additional certifications in pharmacy assistance are a plus.
- Product Knowledge: Strong familiarity with common salt names, brands, and general medical categories.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in pharmacy billing software and digital payment platforms.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
