Job Description:
Experienced Oracle DB Administrator to support Oracle Database upgrade and modernization engagement.
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases (11g / 12c / 19c)
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL, Stored procedure
- Performance tuning (AWR reports, SQL tuning, indexing strategies)
- eveloping and implementing database backups and disaster recovery strategies.
- Optimize database performance by fine-tuning database settings.
- Experience with Data Pump and database refresh activities
- User management, roles, privileges and security management
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
- Develop, implement, and manage database security policies and procedures
- Maintain database reports, visualizations, and dashboards to help existing workflows
- Assess the suitability of data for storage and the best way to organize storage
- Creates, builds, and integrates complex database systems for users/clients
- Implements standards to monitor and improve the database's performance
- Maintains knowledge of and assesses new and developing technologies and tools
- Reduce database downtime and control parameters to ensure quick query responses.
- Ensure SLAs and operational KPIs are fulfilled
