Summary:
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using IBM Infosphere DataStage. Your typical day will involve working with the development team, analyzing business requirements, and developing solutions to meet those requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM Infosphere DataStage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements.
- Perform unit testing and debugging of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and related systems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Infosphere DataStage.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and best practices.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Additional skills: Oracle, Unix, TWS
