Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fabrication Welder to join our sheet metal manufacturing team. The successful candidate will perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and Spot Welding on electrical panel enclosures, fabricated assemblies, frames, doors, partitions, and other sheet metal components. The role requires a strong focus on welding quality, dimensional accuracy, productivity, and workplace safety while supporting on-time production and customer delivery commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Welding Operations
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Spot Welding on sheet metal components and fabricated assemblies.
- Weld electrical panel enclosures, frames, doors, mounting supports, partitions, and structural components as per engineering drawings.
- Ensure weld quality, strength, finish, and dimensional accuracy meet company quality standards.
- Follow approved welding procedures, work instructions, and production schedules.
Fabrication Support
- Assist in fitting, alignment, tack welding, and assembly preparation.
- Verify material dimensions and component fitment before welding.
- Coordinate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Support supervisors in achieving daily production targets.
Quality Assurance
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
- Conduct self-inspection of completed welds before submitting for quality inspection.
- Identify welding defects and take corrective actions to minimize rework.
- Ensure compliance with fabrication quality standards and customer specifications.
Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of welding machines, torches, cables, and accessories.
- Report equipment faults or breakdowns promptly to the Maintenance team.
- Ensure welding equipment is operated safely and maintained in good working condition.
Material Handling
- Handle fabricated components, welding consumables, and raw materials safely.
- Minimize material wastage and optimize welding consumable usage.
- Maintain proper storage and handling of welding materials and tools.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all welding safety procedures and company safety policies.
- Wear and maintain appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S standards.
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Qualifications:
- ITI in Welder, Fitter, Sheet Metal Worker, or an equivalent trade.
- 2–5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding operations.
- Hands-on experience in MIG, TIG, and Spot Welding.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
