We are looking for a Banquet Manager to join our dynamic team for The Hoxton Bengaluru City.
The Hoxton is opening its very first neighbourhood hotel in Asia, coming to India’s Bengaluru city centre in 2026. This is a major milestone for the brand as it ventures into a new continent entirely and we are now looking for a brilliant leadership team to help bring this lifestyle brand to the market.
Located in the heart of the city centre, The Hoxton, Bengaluru City will bring its undeniable brand DNA and guest experience to India’s “Silicon Valley”, a high-tech city filled with parks and gardens and known for its vibrant cafe and pub culture - very apt for a brand that was founded in London!
The hotel will feature 149 bedrooms in a variety of The Hoxton’s well-loved room categories and the lobby will have a vibrant all-day dining restaurant & bar. Topping off the hotel we will have a rooftop pool and bar, large scale function rooms and The Apartment - The Hoxton’s unique meeting & events concept

Job Description
What you’ll do…
-
Together with the Associate Director of Food & Beverage, create exceptional and memorable banquet, conference and event experiences for every guest.

Take ownership of the hotel's banquet operations, ensuring flawless execution of meetings, conferences, weddings, social events and private functions.

Lead the planning and operational delivery of all events, ensuring service standards consistently exceed guest expectations.

Support the Associate Director of Food & Beverage in developing, implementing and managing the department's annual objectives and long-term strategic goals.

Manage operating expenses in line with budget guidelines, analyse performance data and contribute to achieving departmental financial objectives.

Manage, coach and develop the Banquets team, creating an environment where people feel empowered, supported and inspired to deliver their very best.

Lead by example, motivating your team to create memorable Hoxton experiences while encouraging continuous learning and development.

Work closely with the Sales, Events, Kitchen and Operations teams to ensure seamless planning, communication and execution of every event.

Drive banquet revenue through effective event planning, upselling opportunities and commercial initiatives while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Monitor departmental costs, labour productivity and equipment usage, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising quality.

Ensure all banquet venues, equipment and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and safety.

You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar Banquet Manager or Events Operations leadership role.

You have experience managing budgets, forecasting and financial performance within Food & Beverage operations.

You understand banquet planning, event logistics, service sequencing and operational excellence across a variety of event styles.

You're a natural leader who inspires, coaches and develops high-performing teams.

You have a keen eye for detail, thrive under pressure and can confidently manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining exceptional service standards.
