As an Application Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the design, development, and configuration of complex applications. The individual acts as the central liaison, managing communications and aligning project goals with organizational objectives. Daily activities include overseeing progress, addressing challenges, and facilitating collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align technical solutions with business requirements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC).
- Strong knowledge of application design principles and configuration best practices within financial consolidation environments.
- Experience in managing and optimizing end-to-end application lifecycle processes.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable and maintainable application architectures.
- Effective communication skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders.
