Role Overview The HR Business Partner will act as the people partner for Mumbai-Pune business/projects, working closely with business and functional leaders. The role requires a strong balance of business understanding and hands-on HR execution, ensuring that people’s practices at the location are aligned with Ashiana’s culture, policies and business priorities.
How Can You Make an Impact?
Partner with Business/Project Leaders and HODs to understand people’s priorities and translate business requirements into actionable HR plans.
Drive recruitment coordination, onboarding and workforce deployment in line with approved structures and business requirements.
Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding and confirmation to transfers, career movements, retention and exits.
Drive the performance management process, ensuring goal setting, periodic reviews, performance conversations and timely closure of Individual development plans.
Strengthen employee engagement and connect mechanisms through regular interactions, pulse checks, 30-60-90-day feedback and location-level initiatives.
Act as the first point of contact for employee relations and grievances, ensuring timely, fair and sensitive resolution of concerns.
Support managers in performance improvement, difficult employee conversations, disciplinary matters and retention interventions.
Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, processes and organization-wide people initiatives at the Pune location.
Coordinate with Corporate HR, Payroll and Compliance teams to ensure smooth HR operations and adherence to applicable statutory requirements.
Support organization development, culture-building and change-management initiatives as the Mumbai-Pune business continues to scale.
Build strong working relationships with employees across levels and ensure HR remains visible, approachable and business-oriented.
What Are We Looking For?
4–7 years of progressive HR experience, with meaningful exposure to HR Business Partnering / HR Generalist roles.
Strong experience across employee relations, performance management, engagement, talent management and HR operations.
Ability to understand business priorities and engage confidently with senior leaders, project teams and employees across levels.
Strong analytical orientation with the ability to interpret attrition, engagement and manpower data and convert insights into actions.
Understanding of basic labour law and statutory compliance requirements relevant to the workplace.
Strong execution orientation with the ability to balance employee experience and business needs.
Pay: ₹45,000.56 - ₹70,000.45 per month
