The Sales Engineer is responsible to develops list of prospective customers with sales manager, study the approach to be made, makes sales calls on the customer and follow with additional visits and correspondence as appropriate.
Essential Functions:
1. Establishes list of customer base and analyzes customer requirements.
2. Identifies new business opportunities through media such as newspapers, internet, client portals etc to build the sales pipeline.
3. Describes customer requirements and coordinates the efforts of technical specialists for development of proposals. Presents proposals to customers after they have been reviewed by Sales manager.
4. Establishes user level and executive level relationships with the customer base.
5. Helps to acquire competitive data and strategy.
6. Ensures timely submission of the bids, pre-bids and offer documents to the customer.
7. Reports to the sales manager in the form of sales call plan, minutes of meeting etc. on ongoing pursuits on a weekly basis and ensure that pursuits are on track in order to achieve the AOP.
8. Ensures through familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws.
Working days - Monday - Friday
Timings - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
