We are looking for a skilled and motivated React Native Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, performant, and visually appealing mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- App Development: Design and build advanced, scalable applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
- Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code.
- UI/UX Implementation: Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, translating wireframes and high-fidelity mockups into pixel-perfect responsive UI.
- Performance Optimization: Diagnose and fix bugs, optimize application performance, and ensure smooth animations and fast load times.
- Native Integration: Integrate third-party APIs, native modules, and push notifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- Deployment: Manage the compilation, signing, and deployment pipeline for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 6 month plus years of professional software development experience, with at least 6 month plus years focused specifically on React Native.
- Core Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- State Management: Deep understanding of state management libraries like Redux, Toolkit, or Context API.
- Mobile Specifics: Solid understanding of mobile development lifecycles, architectural patterns, and push notification services (FCM/APNs).
- Tools: Experience with Git/GitHub, modern frontend build tools, and package managers (npm/yarn).
- Problem Solving: Excellent debugging skills and familiarity with native build tools (Xcode, Android Studio).
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience writing native code (Swift/Objective-C or Java/Kotlin) to create custom React Native bridges.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Jest or Detox.
- Experience with CI/CD tools for mobile deployment (e.g., Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions).
