As a Software Engineer II within Cloud Engineering, you will help design, build, automate, and support scalable, resilient cloud platforms across Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform. In this role, you will contribute to platform engineering, infrastructure automation, observability, and service reliability initiatives that help improve operational performance and business agility. You will work with engineering teams and stakeholders to standardize cloud deployments, strengthen resilience, and reduce manual effort through automation.

As a Software Engineer II on the Cloud Engineering team, you will be responsible for…
- Engineer, build, and support cloud infrastructure solutions across Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform using infrastructure-as-code and automation-first principles
- Develop and maintain reusable templates, scripts, and deployment patterns to standardize and accelerate cloud provisioning and platform support
- Design, implement, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for infrastructure and platform services
- Enhance observability, reliability, and operational performance through monitoring, logging, alerting, automated remediation, and incident improvement activities
- Support resiliency and modernization efforts through root cause analysis, disaster recovery readiness, container orchestration, and automation initiatives, including artificial intelligence-enabled operations capabilities where appropriate

The Cloud Engineering team will design and implement continuous improvements in the management, design, and functionality of our cloud platform environments to achieve speed and reliability, enabling business agility and user satisfaction. You will be part of our technology organization and have a great opportunity to collaborate with various parts of Deloitte, including our development teams and other stakeholders, to drive reliability upstream in the application lifecycle and across our cloud and engineering environments.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience engineering and supporting cloud infrastructure solutions in Azure and exposure to Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Azure infrastructure-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service offerings
- Experience building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, and Python
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, root cause analysis, and resiliency or disaster recovery activities
Preferred:
- Azure certification
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other database technologies
- Experience managing Secure Sockets Layer certificate implementation and renewal processes
- Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical production services
- Experience participating in architecture and design reviews
- Experience with artificial intelligence-enabled operations, predictive monitoring, or runbook automation
