- Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Sugar Engineering related field.
(Boiler Proficiency is preferable)
- Strong understanding of boiler design, construction, and operation.
- Experience in Boiler Erection and Commissioning projects.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in relevant software (CAD, project management tools).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety & quality standards.
- Experience in sugar plant erection and commissioning is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of automation and control systems is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in challenging environments.
- Project Management:
- Oversees the entire project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and handover.
- Develops detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
- Manages project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Team Leadership:
- Leads and coordinates a multidisciplinary team comprising engineers, technicians, and construction personnel.
- Provides clear direction, assigns tasks, and monitors team performance.
- Fosters a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Erection Supervision:
- Ensures the accurate and timely erection of all equipment and machinery, including
- Conducts regular inspections to verify quality standards and adherence to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Commissioning Activities:
- Oversees the commissioning process, including:
- Pre-commissioning checks and tests
- Initial startup and testing of individual equipment
- Integrated system testing and fine-tuning
- Performance testing and optimization
- Troubleshoots and resolves any technical issues that arise during commissioning.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implements robust quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Conducts regular quality audits and inspections to identify and rectify any deviations.
- Safety Management:
- Prioritizes safety by enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Conducts regular safety training and awareness programs for all team members.
- Implements risk assessment and mitigation strategies to minimize accidents and injuries.
- Client Coordination:
- Maintains regular communication with clients to keep them informed about project progress and address any concerns or queries.
- Ensures timely completion of the project within the agreed-upon budget and scope.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintains detailed project documentation, including installation records, test reports, and commissioning checklists.
- Prepares regular progress reports for management and clients.
- Ensures compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
