Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly energetic and field-oriented Solution Sales Engineer to drive the adoption of our SOLIDWORKS portfolio. This role is primarily a field sales position, requiring extensive travel to client locations across assigned territories to generate business, build relationships, and close deals.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with on-ground prospecting, face-to-face meetings, and technical discussions with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Sales & Client Engagement:
- Conduct daily field visits to industrial areas, manufacturing companies, and engineering firms.
- Generate leads through on-ground prospecting, cold visits, and references.
- Schedule and attend in-person meetings, product presentations, and discussions with decision-makers.
- Build strong relationships with clients through regular physical interactions.
Consultative Selling On-Site:
- Understand customer requirements through face-to-face discussions at client locations.
- Demonstrate value of SOLIDWORKS solutions in real-world use cases.
- Coordinate with technical teams for on-site or virtual demos and POCs.
Territory Management:
- Manage and develop a defined territory (Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Nashik).
- Plan weekly travel schedules and optimize field coverage.
- Track opportunities, visits, and follow-ups systematically in CRM.
Sales Closure & Follow-Ups:
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle—from first visit to closure.
- Ensure consistent follow-ups through visits and calls.
- Negotiate and close deals with a strong focus on conversion.
Account Development:
- Maintain relationships with existing customers through regular site visits.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within accounts.
Candidate Profile:
· Education:
Degree in Mechanical, Production, or related Engineering fields preferred.
MBA in Marketing or Sales is highly preferred.
· Experience:
1–5 years of B2B field sales experience in technical/engineering/IT products.
Freshers with strong technical aptitude and interest in sales may also apply.
· Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of CAD/CAE tools or engineering software is a plus.
Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Willingness to spend 80% of time in the field.
- Comfortable with daily travel and meeting multiple clients.
- Strong on-ground networking and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive in approaching new customers.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
