Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales network across India for our in-house brand ALPHA, which includes a wide range of 100+ power tools and multiple-output petrol generators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving market penetration, developing dealer networks, implementing sales schemes, and ensuring consistent business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Network Development
- Build, manage, and strengthen a robust dealer and distributor network across India.
- Evaluate area-wise sales requirements and appoint new channel partners accordingly.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and performance monitoring of new and existing dealers.
- Business Expansion & Market Analysis
- Identify regions with low or stagnant sales and develop targeted strategies to improve performance.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential markets, product demand, and competitive landscape.
- Recommend and execute region-specific growth initiatives and sales schemes.
- Scheme Development & Implementation
- Assist in designing and rolling out warranty schemes, promotional offers, and dealer incentive plans.
- Communicate schemes effectively to the sales network and ensure proper execution.
- Customer & Dealer Engagement
- Take regular feedback from dealers and end customers to understand product performance and improvement areas.
- Work closely with the service and product teams to highlight recurring issues and ensure better customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Strategy Execution
- Prepare periodic sales reports covering performance, trends, challenges, and action plans.
- Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Travel
- Willingness to travel approximately 10 days per month for dealer visits, market surveys, and business development.
Candidate Requirements
- 6–8 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in power tools, machinery, electrical equipment, or portable gensets.
- Strong understanding of channel sales, dealer management, and retail market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify gaps, and recommend effective strategies.
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable with frequent travel.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
