Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – HR Operations to manage end-to-end HR operational activities for an IT Consulting company. The ideal candidate will handle invoice creation, invoice auditing, Statement of Work (SOW) preparation, payroll processing, salary payout coordination, and IT recruitment operations while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and smooth business operations.
The candidate should possess strong coordination skills, analytical ability, payroll knowledge, recruitment expertise, and experience in handling client and employee operations in the IT staffing/consulting industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations
- Manage daily HR operational activities and employee lifecycle processes.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate onboarding, joining formalities, documentation, and exit processes.
- Ensure operational efficiency across HR and finance coordination.
Invoice Creation & Audit
- Prepare monthly client invoices based on timesheets, billing cycles, and contracts.
- Verify billing accuracy and conduct invoice audits before submission.
- Coordinate with finance and delivery teams for billing approvals.
- Track invoice status, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation.
- Ensure billing compliance as per client agreements and SOW terms.
Statement of Work (SOW) Management
- Draft and maintain SOW documents for clients and consultants.
- Coordinate with sales, delivery, and finance teams for project-specific SOW requirements.
- Ensure all SOWs are aligned with client contracts, pricing, and resource allocation.
- Track renewals, amendments, and contract extensions.
Payroll & Salary Payout
- Process monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leave, incentives, overtime, and reimbursements.
- Calculate employee salaries accurately and coordinate salary payouts.
- Ensure statutory compliance related to payroll processing.
- Handle payroll reports, salary slips, and employee payroll queries.
- Coordinate with accounts team for bank transfers and payroll approvals.
IT Recruitment
- Handle end-to-end IT recruitment for contract and permanent hiring.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, references, and internal databases.
- Screen resumes and coordinate technical interviews with clients/managers.
- Manage offer negotiation, onboarding coordination, and joining follow-ups.
- Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and hiring reports.
Reporting & Coordination
- Generate MIS reports related to payroll, billing, recruitment, and operations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and consultants.
- Monitor operational KPIs and suggest process improvements.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee and client data.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and IT staffing processes
- Experience in invoice generation and auditing
- Good understanding of payroll processing and salary calculation
- Knowledge of SOW and contract documentation
- Hands-on experience in IT recruitment
- Excellent Excel and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
- MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred
- Experience in IT Consulting / IT Staffing industry preferred
Experience Required
- 7+ years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, Billing, or IT Recruitment
- Prior experience in IT Consulting or Staffing company is an added advantage
