Job Title: Accountant
Job Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, handling GST compliance, and ensuring timely financial reporting. The role requires proficiency in Zoho Books, accounting principles, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain books of accounts using Zoho Books.
- Prepare and file GST returns, reconcile GST data, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Generate invoices and follow up on receivables.
- Process vendor payments and maintain payable records.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
- Assist with audits and maintain accurate financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
- 2–4 years of accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and GST compliance.
- Good knowledge of TDS, bank reconciliation, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kochi, Kerala (Kochi): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
