- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome patients and visitors courteously, ensuring a professional and patient-friendly reception experience.
- Register new patients, verify patient information, and maintain accurate records in the Hospital Management System (HMS).
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments for consultations, scans, procedures, and follow-up visits.
- Generate patient bills accurately for consultations, investigations, procedures, pharmacy, and other hospital services.
- Collect payments through cash, card, UPI, and other approved payment methods, and issue receipts promptly.
- Reconcile daily billing transactions, maintain cash collections, and prepare end-of-day reports for the Accounts Department.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and timely billing.
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, billing, hospital services, and insurance-related documentation with professionalism.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and data privacy standards.
- Ensure the reception area is organized, manage incoming calls and emails, and provide administrative support for efficient front office operation.
