We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to teach students from Classes VI to X. The ideal candidate should have strong mathematical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make mathematical concepts clear and engaging for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum for Classes VI to X.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching materials to support student learning.
- Explain mathematical concepts using clear methods, examples, and problem-solving techniques.
- Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and tests to evaluate student progress.
- Provide extra academic support to students who need additional help.
- Encourage students to develop logical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Collaborate with other teachers to improve teaching strategies and academic performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics (B.Sc./M.Sc. Mathematics) or related field.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred.
- 2–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of middle and secondary school mathematics concepts.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for students.
- Basic computer skills for preparing teaching materials and presentations.
