Role Overview
The structural integrity of a solar installation is just as important as its electrical performance.
We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Fabricator to join our installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the structural and mechanical aspects of solar installations, including assembling mounting structures, fabricating metal frameworks, and securely installing solar panels on customer rooftops across Bangalore.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy practical, field-based work and want to play a direct role in building renewable energy infrastructure.
Key ResponsibilitiesStructural Assembly
- Read site layouts and installation drawings.
- Assemble GI (Galvanized Iron) and aluminum mounting structures for rooftop solar systems.
- Install structures on both flat and sloped roofs.
Fabrication & Modification
- Perform basic on-site metal fabrication activities.
- Cut, drill, and modify structural components to suit site-specific requirements.
- Adapt mounting systems to varying rooftop conditions.
Solar Panel Mounting
- Safely lift, position, align, and secure solar panels onto mounting structures.
- Ensure proper panel placement and mechanical fastening.
Civil Support
- Assist with basic civil works, including anchoring and foundation preparation for rooftop and ground-mounted systems.
Tool Handling & Maintenance
- Operate and maintain power tools such as drills, grinders, cutters, and measuring equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines while handling tools and equipment.
Quality & Safety Checks
- Verify structural stability and alignment of installations.
- Ensure all mechanical connections are weather-resistant, corrosion-protected, and compliant with safety standards.
- Follow rooftop and workplace safety protocols at all times.
