What You'll Do
Concept & Curation
- Develop the curatorial concept, theme, and narrative arc for new and ongoing museum projects.
- Research subject matter (tribal heritage, military history, regional culture, archaeology, etc.) using primary and secondary sources, expert consultations, and field visits.
- Design the visitor journey — gallery sequencing, key moments, interpretive layers, and the balance of artefact, panel, AV, and immersive media.
Scripting & Content
- Write gallery scripts, panel copy, label text, audio-guide narration, and AV/film scripts in English and Hindi (or coordinate translation).
- Build the content bible: object lists, image briefs, citations, captions, and rights documentation.
- Edit and quality-check all client-facing curatorial material before installation.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Lead curatorial presentations and walkthroughs with government clients, district authorities, subject-matter experts, and review committees.
- Translate client feedback into clear briefs for design and execution teams without losing the curatorial spine.
- Represent the company in expert panels, review meetings, and tender presentations.
Project Management
- Own the curatorial timeline alongside the project's design and execution schedule.
- Coordinate with exhibition designers, graphic designers, fabricators, AV integrators, and site engineers to ensure curatorial intent is preserved on-ground.
- Manage research and content budgets, vendor briefs for AV/multimedia, and approvals.
- Travel to project sites for installation supervision and content commissioning.
