Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical parts, components, and equipment according to assembly drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and work instructions.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, measuring instruments, and assembly fixtures.
- Perform fitting, alignment, fastening, and adjustment of mechanical components.
- Conduct functional testing and quality inspections of assembled products.
- Identify and report defects, non-conformities, or assembly issues.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter, Machinist, or related technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing operations (freshers may be considered for junior positions).
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Knowledge of mechanical components such as bearings, gears, shafts, fasteners, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
