We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage our financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations, and provide accurate financial reports to support business decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with financial reporting, and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other applicable tax returns.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Monitor cash flow, control expenses, and support financial planning.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial forecasts and budgets.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and merchant settlements.
- Maintain and improve accounting systems, financial policies, and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Accountant, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.
- Experience in tax filing, statutory compliance, and audit support.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial reporting, and data analysis).
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strict confidentiality.
