Job Description
Damu and Sons Sales Corporation is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Purchase Officer to manage the company’s procurement activities. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing products, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely purchase and delivery of materials required for business operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or IT
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (preferred)
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Handle purchasing and procurement activities of the company
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best price and quality
- Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain purchase records
- Compare quotations from multiple vendors before finalizing orders
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store/warehouse team
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Verify invoices and coordinate with accounts for payment processing
- Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify new vendors when required
