Job Title: Executive – Estates & Facilities Management
Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka
This is an operational role focused on facility management and campus maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facility Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance of buildings, classrooms, offices, and common areas
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and civil works
2. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with external vendors for services such as housekeeping, security, pest control, and maintenance
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
3. Housekeeping & Hygiene
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards across campus facilities
- Supervise housekeeping staff and conduct routine inspections
4. Infrastructure & Asset Management
- Maintain records of assets, equipment, and facility-related inventory
- Assist in space allocation and infrastructure planning
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire safety norms, and statutory requirements
- Support audits, inspections, and emergency preparedness activities
6. Utilities & Resource Management
- Monitor usage of utilities such as electricity, water, and air conditioning
- Assist in implementing cost-control and energy-saving measures
7. Administrative Support & Reporting
- Maintain logs, reports, and documentation related to facility operations
- Prepare reports on maintenance activities, issues, and resolutions
