The Billing Executive is responsible for accurate and timely preparation of patient bills, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, insurance requirements, and NABH standards. The role includes coordination with clinical departments, patients, and insurance providers to ensure smooth billing operations and revenue cycle management.
5. Key Responsibilities:
A. Billing Operations:
- Prepare and generate accurate inpatient and outpatient bills.
- Ensure all services, procedures, and consumables are correctly charged.
- Verify patient details, services rendered, and tariff before final billing.
- Handle advance payments, deposits, and final settlements.
B. Insurance & TPA Coordination:
- Process cashless and reimbursement claims as per TPA/insurance guidelines.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for approvals and documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation for claim submission and settlement.
C. Patient Handling:
- Explain billing details clearly to patients and attendants.
- Address billing-related queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication.
D. Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate billing records and reports.
- Ensure adherence to NABH standards and hospital billing protocols.
- Safeguard patient confidentiality and financial data.
E. Coordination:
- Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, lab, and other departments for charge capture.
- Work closely with accounts for daily collection reconciliation.
- Assist in audits and provide required billing documents.

7. Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Hospital Administration
- Experience: 1–3 years in hospital billing or healthcare finance
- Knowledge of hospital billing software (HIS)
- Familiarity with insurance/TPA processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
8. Working Conditions:
- Hospital environment with shift duties
- Handling patient interactions and financial transactions
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
