Job Description:
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Team Lead (Tamil-speaking) from the EdTech sector, with a minimum of 3 years of Team Lead experience, who can consistently achieve individual sales targets while driving overall team targets. The role requires hands-on selling, strong leadership, and continuous performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned individual sales targets
- Drive and ensure achievement of overall team enrolment targets
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales counsellors / BDEs
- Monitor daily calls, follow-ups, conversions, and closures
- Conduct daily reviews, performance tracking, and team huddles
- Coach team members on pitching, objection handling, and closing
- Handle escalated student/parent conversations when required
- Coordinate with marketing on lead quality and campaign outcomes
- Ensure strict adherence to CRM processes and sales discipline
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales Team Lead in EdTech
- Proven ability to handle both individual and team targets
- Strong closing skills with a growth & target-oriented mindset
- Fluency in Tamil with excellent communication ability
- Experience managing inside sales / tele-sales teams
- Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
Preferred / Added Advantage:
- Experience handling high-volume inbound and outbound leads
- Strong analytical skills to track KPIs and conversion metrics
- Ability to train new joiners and quickly ramp up productivity
- Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven EdTech setup
