Job Title: IT Adminstrator
Job Summary:
The IT Administrator is responsible for managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless hardware and software operations, maintaining IT assets, and supporting employees with technical requirements. The role includes system administration, VPN and connectivity management, laptop maintenance, vendor coordination, and ensuring uninterrupted day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure & Support
- Manage and maintain company hardware, laptops, desktops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Provide support for VPN connectivity, system access, and password management.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
- Ensure smooth functioning of IT systems and operational continuity.
System Administration
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade operating systems and software applications.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates and patches.
- Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Asset Management
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, warranties, and inventory.
- Track allocation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of IT equipment.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and procedures.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Manage AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and service agreements.
Stakeholder Management
- Provide technical assistance and support to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand and address IT requirements.
- Ensure high levels of user satisfaction through timely issue resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems, networking, and VPN configuration.
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and software installation.
- Understanding of IT asset management practices.
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Total: 4 years (Preferred)
- IT Administrator role: 3 years (Preferred)
