Job Summary
The Merchandiser will assist the merchandising team in coordinating orders, maintaining product samples, following up on production timelines, and ensuring smooth communication between buyers and suppliers. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals eager to start a career in apparel or product merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior merchandisers in day-to-day coordination with buyers, vendors, and production teams.
- Monitor sample development, order status, and shipment schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders, costing sheets, and follow-up reports.
- Handle product samples — maintain records, labeling, and organization.
- Communicate with suppliers for fabric, trims, and accessories requirements.
- Track production progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in quality checks and documentation as required.
- Maintain database and file systems for easy reference of order updates.
- Prepare basic reports and presentations for internal meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textile, Apparel, or related field.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic understanding of merchandising or supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail, willing to learn, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: ₹8,710.91 - ₹23,941.20 per month
