Job Title- Radiology Technician
Main Objective of the role
Support diagnostic imaging services by operating radiographic equipment under supervision, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and ensuring image quality and patient safety.
· Assist in performing routine diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, under the supervision of a licensed radiologic technologist or radiologist.
· Prepare patients for imaging, including explaining procedures and positioning them correctly.
· Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during radiologic procedures.
· Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any faults or irregularities.
· Follow radiation safety protocols & use protective equipment (e.g., lead aprons) to minimize exposure.
· Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation.
· Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the radiology department.
· Support senior staff in special procedures and emergency imaging requests.
· Adhere to hospital policies & protocols regarding infection control and patient confidentiality.
Required Education: Diploma or associate degree in Radiologic Technology or Medical Imaging
