Lead Teacher (Early Years)
Focus: Instructional Leadership & "New Age" Pedagogy
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Position Overview
As a Lead Teacher at Cucoon, you are the cornerstone of our "New Age Learning" philosophy. You will move beyond rote-based instruction to foster curiosity through the British EYFS framework. This role requires high emotional intelligence and meticulous record -keeping.
Core Responsibilities
- Instructional Leadership:
- Implement enquiry-based and play-led learning (STEM, sensory play, and creative arts).
- Adapt teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs (Differentiated Instruction).
- Mentor Assistant Teachers and support staff within your classroom.
- Curriculum & Documentation:
- Develop weekly lesson plans to be submitted every Thursday for approval.
- Maintain "Teacher Diaries" including attendance, anecdotal records, and individual observations.
- Curate digital and physical student portfolios documenting milestones.
- Daily Duty Breakdown:
- Hour 1: Classroom setup and resource organization.
- Hours 2-5: Core instruction (Circle time, specialized centers, outdoor play).
- Hour 6: Observation and logging during quiet time/transitions.
- Hours 7-8: Planning, parent queries, and professional development debriefs.
· Parent & Community Engagement
- Lead quarterly Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTC) with data-backed insights.
- Maintain professional, empathetic communication via the school app.
- Conduct termly formal assessments and progress reports.
Attendance: Participation in Saturday "Open Days" or "Brainstorming Circles" may be required twice a term.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
