Position Summary
The Manager- Coalitions & Collaborations is responsible for driving Navjyoti India Foundation's institutional and international fundraising strategy, owning a single, unified pipeline across every funding source, including international philanthropy, NRI and global volunteer engagement, and corporate, CSR, and PSU partnerships.
This role owns end-to-end resource mobilization across every funding source, identifying and securing new partners, deepening existing relationships, and translating grassroots impact into compelling cases for support. The Manager consolidates targets, tracks performance across all funding sources, and reports progress directly to the Director, ensuring a single, unified view of the Foundation's fundraising pipeline.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
1. Partnership Development & Fundraising
- Build and manage relationships across the full donor base, NRI communities and diaspora networks, international donors, corporates, CSR teams, and PSUs.
- Identify, pitch, and secure new partnerships international philanthropy, corporate sponsorships, and CSR/PSU tie-ups and to meet consolidated fundraising targets.
- Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, donor drives, and cause-driven partnership activations across all channels, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Track partner and donor engagement across the pipeline, identify growth potential, and drive renewals/retention alongside new business development.
- Oversee project monitoring for funded initiatives and assessing community needs and preparing impact portfolios/reports for donors and partners.
2. Strategy, Reporting & Target Ownership
- Consolidate targets and performance metrics across all funding sources into a unified fundraising dashboard.
- Provide regular progress reports and strategic recommendations to the Director on pipeline health, target achievement, and risk areas.
- Recommend new growth avenues and partnership models to expand the Foundation's overall revenue base.
- Represent the Foundation at donor meetings, corporate forums, and global stakeholder events as needed.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, CSR, or development communications (NGO/nonprofit sector preferred).
- Demonstrated experience managing both institutional/corporate relationships and individual or diaspora donor engagement.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills and able to translate program impact into donor-facing narratives.
- Comfortable owning targets and reporting metrics independently to senior leadership.
- Willingness to travel and engage across time zones for global stakeholder coordination.
