Techsol Engineers is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Head to lead the complete lifecycle of engineering and EPC projects across India. The Project Head will be responsible for project planning, execution, commercial performance, customer satisfaction, profitability, resource management, quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
The role requires strong technical expertise, strategic leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects, cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and clients while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and contractual commitments.

Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, commissioning, and handover of multiple engineering projects.

Develop project execution strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

Drive project profitability and customer satisfaction.

Prepare project execution plans and schedules.
-
Allocate manpower, equipment, and resources effectively.

Monitor project milestones and resolve execution bottlenecks.

Conduct regular project review meetings.
-
Ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.

Attend client meetings, technical discussions, and progress reviews.

Manage customer expectations and ensure timely issue resolution.

Develop long-term customer relationships.
-
Monitor project budgets and cost control.
-
Review project profitability and margins.
-
Approve procurement requirements.
-
Monitor billing, collections, variation orders, and change requests.
-
Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.

Lead Project Managers, Site Engineers, Design Engineers, Planning Engineers, and Project Coordinators.

Develop team capabilities through mentoring and coaching.
-
Conduct periodic performance reviews.
-
Promote collaboration across departments.
-
Provide technical guidance during project execution.
-
Review engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
-
Resolve technical challenges in coordination with Design and Engineering teams.

Drive engineering excellence and standardization.
-
Optimize utilization of manpower and equipment.
-
Monitor workforce productivity.
-
Plan manpower deployment across projects.
-
Coordinate subcontractors and external agencies.
-
Coordinate procurement activities with SCM and Commercial teams.

Review technical specifications for procurement.

Evaluate subcontractors and vendors.
-
Monitor vendor performance and project deliveries.
-
Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems.
-
Review inspection reports.
-
Implement corrective and preventive actions.
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
-
Promote a strong safety culture.
-
Ensure compliance with HSE standards.
-
Monitor safety audits.
-
Minimize project incidents and risks.
-
Identify project risks.
-
Develop mitigation strategies.
-
Escalate critical issues to management.
-
Ensure business continuity.
-
Prepare weekly and monthly project dashboards.

Present project performance to senior management.

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.

PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification is preferred.

MBA (Operations/Project Management) is an added advantage.

15–20+ years of experience in Engineering, EPC, Industrial Projects, CGD, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Utilities, or Infrastructure.

Minimum 5 years in a senior project leadership role managing multiple projects.
