Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the division’s business strategy, targeting growth across inbound travel sectors.
- Product Development: Design profitable, customized tour packages and curate experiential travel.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local transport operators, hoteliers, and DMCs.
- P&L & Budgeting: Manage tour budgets, monitor pricing strategies, and control costs to maximize the division's profitability.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and evaluate tour coordinators, operations executives, and ticketing staff.
- Itinerary & Package Design: Creating customized domestic tour packages that include hotel stays, transport, and sightseeing.
- Quality & Cost Control: Ensuring trips stay within budget while maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Crisis Management: Oversee client servicing, ensuring high satisfaction Handling on-ground issues and emergencies effectively during the tour.
Essential Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 4-7 years of progressive experience in the Indian travel and tourism industry, specifically handling B2C tour operations in and out of Kerala.
- Destination Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of India’s geography, cultural hotspots, and key Kerala tourism destinations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and multilingual proficiency to liaise with international clients and local stakeholders.
